- Wearing jeans, flip flops, and hoodies all the time
- Leaving for class with wet hair and not having to care about it!
- "I have to study" is a great excuse for EVERYTHING
- Late-night good times in the dorms
- Not having to cook my own meals!
- Forgetting about bills, house cleaning, and other grown-up things
- The backpack lifestyle - never leave home without it!
- Fireworks from the Sox games
- Being surrounded by VanderFriends
- CHICAGO!!!
- The trains...
- Making music all day with a fabulous group of people
- Easy access to fantastic music - i.e. Millennium Park concerts
- Walking or taking the L everywhere
- The academic schedule - staying up late, sneaking in a nap between classes, etc.!
- Being able to focus on being a teacher
- Everything!!
