Whenever I am wondering whether or not this is where I belong, choir rehearsal sets me right again.
Everyone in the master's program is required to be in the concert choir. (There is an additional choir for those who are vocal ed majors.) So that's around 150 people. Many band and orchestra majors are not accustomed to singing in the choir, so it's not as if we have 150 vocal majors. However, it's still quite a powerful experience!
I'm no trained singer, but I do love singing in choir.
But you already knew that.
