Of all the dorm room desks I've had in my three summers here, this one is by far my favorite. The desk itself is no different. It's the view that makes it special. My desk this year faces the full wall of windows in my room and overlooks the courtyard entrance to the building. The courtyard is full of trees that sway and rustle in the wind.
Right now the window is open, the sun is shining, and the view just doesn't get much better. The sounds of the leaves right in front of me mix with the sounds of Dan Ryan just a few blocks away and the L track behind the building. It's a gorgeous sunny day in the city.
On to the homework!
