I know this comes as absolutely no surprise to any of you, but I just thought I'd put it out there in writing.
Why today? Because I had a good day at school with some productive rehearsals, particularly in 7th grade, and I just generally had a good time with the kiddos. (All 180 of them... Oy...) It was a day when I was in the teaching zone - getting good work done but having a grand ol' time doing it, and being a complete goofball along the way. (Just ask my 5th hour about the "Fat Bunny," for example.)
I guess there is a reason I teach middle school.
Yes, I'm a weirdo. But it works for me. :-)
