god is with us

darkness to light
silence to sound
despair to hope

god is with us!

born in obscurity
where no one would ever
think to look

save for a single
shining star
leading the way

our savior!

we were lost
and now we are
found

blind
but now we
see

purposeless
but now living
for him

despairing
but now full
of joy

he has come!

our life was
to end at the
grave

but now we have
the promise of
eternity

how can we not
sing
shout
dance
laugh
praise!

hear ye people
even to the uttermost end of the earth
christ is born!
